Fine Arts

Fine Arts offers a three strand service including core private and public sector infrastructure art projects, environmental and social projects delivered through its environmental body art programs: studentships, publications, temporary artistic projects and exhibitions through its Legends programme.

Working in collaboration with artists, architects, residents, communities, public authorities and the private sector Fine Arts commissions programme includes projects with artists of national and international status working in a number of partnerships within urban and rural environments. With its substantial reputation for quality of service, gallery role has supported the success of many regeneration initiatives .

The Legends artistic programme comprises independently funded performances, temporary works, Artstouring exhibitions, publications, local history and community initiatives. Through the Legacies project Fine Arts provides opportunities for younger artists engaging in contemporary practice. It also showcases new artists from Wales, across the UK and internationally. 

Fine Arts core business is the undertaking of public art commissions within infrastructure, housing, leisure and retail developments working with both private and public sector clients, local authorities communities and architectural practices. Fine Arts environmental subsidiary delivers sustainable projects within the urban environment with an emphasis on green issues. 

The gallery space is used primarily to exhibit fine art, photo media, sculpture and other work by living artists some of which may be related to visual arts practice in the public realm as well as digital arts.
